Director of Business Operations

Location: New York, United States; on-site

Base salary: $350,000–$450,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own annual and quarterly planning cycles, including OKRs, long-range planning, and quarterly business reviews.
• Run weekly and monthly business reviews and build dashboards, scorecards, and reporting infrastructure.
• Launch new initiatives such as market entry programs, partnership structures, and internal pilots through operational handoff.
• Coordinate cross-functional programs across product, engineering, sales, marketing, and finance.
• Resolve root causes, prioritization conflicts, and execution blockers across teams without direct authority.
• Prepare decision memos, briefing documents, board materials, playbooks, and operating processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in business operations, strategy and operations, or a Chief of Staff function.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams or programs at significant scale.
• Experience building cross-functional operating processes from scratch, including planning cycles, business reviews, and metrics infrastructure.
• Strong analytical skills in forecasting, unit economics, cohort analysis, and variance analysis; fluency in SQL or willingness to learn quickly.
• Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder programs through influence rather than direct authority.
• Clear, structured written communication and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
