AI Data Engineer Consultant (AI/Python/RAG): Designing and scaling AI-powered data pipelines and full-stack solutions that transform structured and unstructured data into customer-ready outputs with an accent on large language models, vector search, document generation, and production engineering. What you will do
- Design and implement AI-powered pipelines for extracting, cleaning, enriching, and transforming structured and unstructured data.
- Orchestrate large language models for data manipulation, validation, and cross-referencing.
- Generate customer-ready Excel, PDF, Word, and other business documents programmatically.
- Prototype emerging AI tools and convert proofs of concept into scalable production solutions.
- Build full-stack applications that connect AI-driven backends with modern web interfaces.
- Design and optimize relational and vector databases while contributing to maintainable engineering practices.
Requirements
- University degree in environmental sciences, information technology, computer science, engineering, management information systems, theoretical business, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in AI data engineering and/or EHS-related work.
- Hands-on experience with large language models such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, or open-source equivalents.
- Strong knowledge of embeddings, vector search, semantic similarity, RAG architectures, Python, SQL, and relational data modeling.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration frameworks; async programming, data libraries, and AI SDKs.
- Experience generating Excel, PDF, and Word documents programmatically and building production APIs with FastAPI, .NET, or Node.js.
Nice to have
- Frontend development experience with Vue 3 Composition API and TypeScript.
- Experience with vector databases, containerization, cloud platforms, or serverless architectures.
- Background in NLP, document intelligence, data enrichment pipelines, monorepos, Turborepo, or Nx.
- Knowledge of EHS software, environmental compliance, industrial hygiene and safety, occupational health, audit management, incident management, or risk assessment.
