HSE Coordinator (m/f/d) - Data Centre Construction

Location: Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany; on-site work required

What you will do

• Support the implementation and monitoring of the project EHS plan on site.
• Promote safety awareness and a positive safety culture among project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate contractor safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections and safety audits, monitor high-risk activities, and verify compliance with client requirements and local legislation.
• Support incident reporting, investigations, corrective-action tracking, safety campaigns, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain HSE records and provide day-to-day guidance to project teams and contractors, escalating significant concerns to HSE leadership.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in occupational health and safety, environmental management, construction management, or a related discipline.
• 3–5+ years of experience in a construction HSE role, preferably on large-scale, infrastructure, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
• Understanding of construction safety requirements, risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and HSE compliance processes.
• Experience with site inspections, audits, incident investigations, and corrective-action tracking.
• Strong communication, coordination, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent English and availability for on-site work in Frankfurt are required.

• Experience with Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.
