What you will do

  • Develop methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze fab, defect, electrical, and other large data sources.
  • Perform statistical analysis, create visualizations, and develop yield projections and process development roadmaps.
  • Use advanced statistics, machine learning, coding, and multivariate algorithms to identify root-cause yield limiters and recommend process changes.
  • Collaborate with design teams and factory task forces on new product introductions, design-technology co-optimization, and design of experiments.
  • Develop measurement recipes, production systems, and computational tools for leading-edge logic nodes and product quality improvement.
  • Document procedures, train colleagues, and debug equipment, software, and procedural failures in production environments.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in semiconductor science-related engineering, physical science, computer science, or a related STEM field.
  • At least 2 years of experience with advanced semiconductor devices and process flow.
  • Ability to work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, or Austin, Texas, United States.
  • Experience with data analysis systems and software tools is preferred.
  • Experience with yield projection using end-of-line signals and in-line parameters is preferred.
  • Project or program management experience and the ability to work across matrixed organizations are preferred.
