Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Chatsworth Office, United States; on-site

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 per year, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Monitor supplier quality performance, production yield, defect trends, DMRs, SCARs, and recurring quality issues.
• Lead 8D and SCAR activities, including root-cause validation, containment, corrective-action implementation, and effectiveness verification.
• Conduct risk-based and issue-driven supplier and process audits.
• Support supplier NPI, FAI, qualification, production ramp, and manufacturing-readiness activities.
• Evaluate manufacturing, inspection, and test processes to improve defect prevention, traceability, process controls, workmanship, and change control.
• Coordinate cross-functional investigations and resolutions with suppliers, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, NPI, Test, Supply Chain, Receiving, Production Quality, and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Quality Engineering, or a related engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of root-cause analysis, 8D, CAPA/SCAR, supplier auditing, manufacturing process controls, FAI/NPI, and corrective-action effectiveness.
• Experience with electronics manufacturing, contract manufacturers, PCBA, server/storage systems, or complex electromechanical products is preferred.
• Strong technical problem-solving, data-analysis, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to supplier manufacturing locations as required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting supplier quality for HPC, enterprise data storage, AI infrastructure, or server-class hardware.
• Ability to independently challenge unsupported supplier RCA/FA conclusions using objective technical evidence.
