Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; 70% in-office work model. Only U.S. persons are eligible due to U.S. export control requirements, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $130,800–$209,400 per year, with potential discretionary bonus, incentive compensation, or equity.

What you will do

• Lead the design, operation, and support of enterprise automation capabilities using Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Build reusable automation workflows for cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and network infrastructure.
• Develop infrastructure provisioning and configuration automation with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, Bicep, and Ansible.
• Create automation scripts, modules, and playbooks using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML.
• Automate network configuration, validation, compliance checks, maintenance, and change execution through APIs, source control, inventory, and monitoring integrations.
• Improve logging, reporting, alerting, operational security, documentation, and automation standards while mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• Ability to work in the United States and qualify as a U.S. person is required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, cloud operations, network automation, or platform engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform, and Infrastructure-as-Code tooling.
• Experience leading automation across AWS, Azure, on-premises, or hybrid environments.
• Strong scripting skills and knowledge of Linux, Windows, networking, APIs, source control, and operational security.

Nice to have

• Red Hat, AWS, Azure, Cisco, Terraform, or network automation certifications.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with GxP, HIPAA, ISO, or NIST frameworks.
• Infrastructure automation experience in life sciences or other regulated environments.
