Senior IT Auditor

Location: Riverchase Operations Center, Hoover, Alabama, United States

Salary range: $65,627.65–$88,010.00 USD annually.

What you will do

• Plan and execute risk-based internal audit engagements.
• Develop audit programs, engagement procedures, and project timelines.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT general controls and IT application controls.
• Assess business resiliency and the ability to respond to and recover from disruption.
• Review audit work, validate conclusions, and draft accurate, objective audit issues.
• Coach audit staff, discuss findings with organizational stakeholders, and follow up on remediation actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk, or a related field.
• Three years of experience in internal audit, external audit, banking, risk management, or compliance.
• Experience with IT General Controls, IT Application Controls, and business resiliency testing.
• Ability to research, analyze data, derive facts, manage deadlines, and work under pressure.
• Strong verbal, written communication, organizational, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Professional certification or progress toward certification, such as CAMS, CBA, CFISA, CFE, CISA, CISSP, CIA, CPA, CRCM, or CRP.
