IT Audit, Cybersecurity & Risk Experienced Consultant (SOC Focus)

Salary: $85,910–$162,890 national pay rate range; California range: $102,000–$162,890

What you will do

• Work with client executives and management teams to identify and manage financial, operational, and technology risks.
• Assess IT general controls, application controls, IT strategy and governance, regulatory compliance, business continuity, automated controls, and key reports.
• Develop audit programs and execute internal audits, IT control assessments, and SOC-focused engagements.
• Review processes and controls against industry frameworks, identify design and execution gaps, and communicate recommendations.
• Draft executive summaries and final reports, document work papers, and advise clients on process and control improvements.
• Build client relationships while developing expertise across technology environments, platforms, applications, and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, management or computer information systems, computer science, accounting information systems, computer engineering, industrial engineering, or a related program.
• At least 1 year of experience with IT audit; previous SOC audit experience is preferred.
• Experience as a client-serving professional at a consulting firm is desired.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.

Nice to have

• CISA, CIA, or CPA certification.
• Previous experience performing SOC audits.
• Client-service experience in a consulting firm.
