Senior Specialist, System Integration and Test Engineer

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; onsite role.

Salary: $97,000–$180,000 annually.

What you will do

• Support testing for multiple ground-based mission systems and operations centers from program inception through verification and deployment.
• Execute integration, system, and acceptance testing, including manual and automated testing.
• Develop test strategies, plans, cases, scripts, reports, and requirements traceability matrices.
• Coordinate test planning and evaluation with government customers, internal organizations, subcontractors, and stakeholder offices.
• Track defects, perform regression testing, and document clear software issues in bug-tracking tools.
• Lead test development and peer reviews while collaborating with software development teams and Agile delivery groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of related experience, graduate degree with at least 7 years, or 13 years of related experience without a degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens; U.S. work eligibility is required.
• Experience with Linux commands, software test life cycle activities, test readiness reviews, test reports, and regression testing.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools, plus experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Ability to analyze user stories, use cases, and requirements and ensure complete, accurate test coverage.

Nice to have

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering methodology.
• Familiarity with AI tools for debugging, documentation, and development.
