Onsite Artwork Project Manager (Packaging)

Location: Fully remote in North America (US/Canada); US candidates only, excluding AK, DC, DE, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, UT, VT, WY, and WV

Salary: $50,000–$60,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of packaging artwork projects for assigned clients, from briefing through delivery.
• Coordinate artwork production, prepress activities, approvals, timelines, budgets, estimates, and purchase orders.
• Translate client instructions into clear production requirements and liaise with clients, internal teams, printers, and suppliers.
• Monitor high-volume workflows, identify risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and communicate schedule or budget impacts.
• Verify technical and content accuracy, monitor color quality, enforce quality-control processes, and implement corrective actions.
• Improve workflow processes, configure projects and approvers in workflow tools, and support best-practice adoption across the team.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience preferred; entry-level candidates with relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and artwork management systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage changing demands and tight deadlines in a complex, diverse environment.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, printers, suppliers, and cross-functional production teams.
• Packaging, artwork, creative project management, print production, prepress, design, or color management experience is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency or Adobe certification.
• Previous customer service or project management experience.
• Project Management certification.
