Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; US-based role with an office-first culture and approximately three days per week in the office.
Annual base pay: $196,500–$294,750 USD for candidates based in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington. The role may also include discretionary bonuses, equity, commissions, and benefits.

What you will do
- Act as the primary technical contact for strategic enterprise customers using big-data and high-scale services.
- Diagnose, reproduce, triage, and resolve complex incidents across distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs, integrations, applications, infrastructure, and networks.
- Lead technical deep dives with customers covering architectures, data flows, performance constraints, and success metrics.
- Translate customer pain points into technical requirements, problem statements, and prioritized product and engineering backlog items.
- Guide customers on scalability, reliability, cost efficiency, and observability, while creating runbooks, reference architectures, sample code, and knowledge-base content.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, SRE/CloudOps, Support, and Customer Success to improve products, reduce recurring incidents, and shape the roadmap.
Requirements
- 12+ years of hands-on engineering experience, including at least three years in a customer-facing engineering, solutions, field engineering, or technical account role.
- Experience with distributed datastores or warehouses such as Cosmos DB, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
- Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks and streaming systems such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, and streaming pipelines.
- Experience building or supporting high-throughput, low-latency APIs and cloud services, with hands-on experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or a similar language, including log analysis, tooling, and production code investigation.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to engineers and executive stakeholders, with strong customer empathy and ownership.
Nice to have
- Experience in B2B SaaS, particularly data, security, privacy, or compliance products.
- Background in high-scale multi-tenant architectures and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with incident management practices, runbooks, on-call rotations, and incident command structures.
- Experience shaping product roadmaps from customer needs and operational insights.
- Exposure to consent, privacy, or data governance systems.
