Market Demand Planner (Bicycle Industry): Forecasting global demand across product families and regions with an accent on customer forecasts, market trends, statistical models, and new product launches. Location: Schweinfurt, Germany; based within commuting distance and onsite at least three days per week

What you will do
- Analyze customer forecasts, seasonal trends, and market data to identify demand shifts and opportunities.
- Maintain demand plans using statistical models, forecasts, and market expertise.
- Lead brand review meetings with Account Managers to assess buying behavior and upcoming developments.
- Partner with Sales and Product Management on new product launches and go-to-market planning.
- Prepare reports that turn complex demand data into actionable business insights.
- Communicate demand changes and risks while representing customer and market perspectives across internal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, or a related field with strong business economics knowledge.
- At least three years of experience in Demand Planning, Sales Forecasting, S&OP, or a related function.
- Strong analytical, communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder-influence skills.
- Fluency in English is required; German is advantageous.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required; experience with SAP IBP and Power BI is advantageous.
- Must live within commuting distance of the Schweinfurt office and work onsite at least three days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience or a personal connection with the outdoor or bicycle industry.
- Experience with SAP IBP and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Willingness to travel internationally to collaborate with global colleagues.
