Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: United States — Colorado Springs, Colorado, or San Luis Obispo, California. The role requires approximately one week of international travel every other month.

Salary: $75,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus eligibility for an annual corporate bonus.

What you will do

• Own product quality for a specific value stream from development through production and post-launch operations.
• Champion continuous improvement by increasing value-added activities and eliminating waste.
• Assess quality metrics and processes, then lead initiatives to improve performance.
• Ensure the value stream meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Lead cross-functional teams in implementing meaningful quality improvements.
• Use data-driven decision-making to solve problems while maintaining daily quality operations and a systems-level perspective.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in using and teaching quality tools to resolve complex product, process, or system issues.
• Strong analytical skills and a hands-on problem-solving approach.
• Willingness to travel internationally for approximately one week every other month.
