Test Engineer - APAC

Location: Needham, Massachusetts, United States; travel as needed

Salary: $58,500–$110,600 USD annually

What you will do

• Analyze customer complaints and field failures to identify root causes and lead corrective engineering or customer-facing initiatives.
• Coordinate corrective actions, follow-ups, issue tracking, and detailed reporting as the voice of the customer.
• Collaborate with suppliers on 8D responses, investigation reports, and resolution updates.
• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, safety reviews, engineering change evaluations, and manufacturing quality activities.
• Monitor consumer experience trends, field reception, digital escalations, and product health metrics.
• Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership while driving cross-functional improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Product Development, Human Factors Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in consumer goods or a fast-paced product environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Understanding of product development lifecycles, design and document change control, CAPA, manufacturing and process control, and verification and validation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, report-writing, presentation, collaboration, and change-leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with SharePoint.
• Experience in consumer goods or a fast-paced product development environment.
