Financial Partnerships Operations Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY; the posting also lists San Francisco.

Salary: $100,000–$170,000 annual base pay, plus potential equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Support operational relationships with banking, payment, and financial-institution partners across onboarding, due diligence, integration, launch, steady state, and expansion.
• Help expand the partner network and support new-market launches across Issuing, Online Payments, and Global Treasury & Payment Network.
• Track regulations, scheme requirements, network rules, and changes affecting financial institutions and payment providers.
• Improve processes and workflows by introducing scalable operating mechanisms and technology-enabled efficiencies.
• Own partner escalations, operational requests, and internal dependencies, coordinating timely resolution against agreed KPIs.
• Prepare partner health reports, scorecards, governance forums, QBRs, playbooks, and performance dashboards for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in financial services, fintech, payments, banking operations, strategy, business operations, partnerships, consulting, or a related field.
• Strong project-management experience and a track record of improving processes, policies, products, or operational workflows.
• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency with reporting and analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while balancing growth, customer experience, operational effectiveness, and risk.

Nice to have

• Experience with banking partners, sponsor banks, payment processors, card schemes, payment service providers, or regulated financial institutions.
• Knowledge of payment flows, acquiring or issuing, network rules, KYC or KYB, due diligence, and technical integrations.
• Experience building governance forums, partner scorecards, dashboards, QBRs, intake processes, or global playbooks.
• Experience automating manual processes, improving partner economics, reducing operational risk, or increasing execution speed.
