Technology Risk Manager Sr (Third-Party Technology Risk)

Location: In-office role in Vienna, VA, or based in Pittsburgh, PA; Dallas, TX; or Washington, DC

Base salary: $146,300–$326,040 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the third-party technology risk function and manage a team of technology risk professionals.
• Set the strategy, methodology, thresholds, and operating model for evaluating critical and high-risk technology vendors, cloud service providers, and material fourth parties.
• Direct risk assessments, inherent risk tiering, due diligence, residual risk conclusions, exceptions, and risk acceptance decisions.
• Own technology risk indicators, vendor risk ratings, scorecards, executive reporting, root-cause analysis, and remediation tracking.
• Serve as the senior technology risk contact for regulatory examinations, Internal Audit, and Independent Risk Management reviews.
• Partner with Technology, Information Security, Resilience, Supply Chain, Legal, Enterprise Third-Party Management, and other control functions on risk-based decisions.

Requirements

• In-office work is expected; the role is tied to locations in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Washington, DC.
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Typically requires 8+ years of industry-relevant experience and at least 5 years of management experience.
• Proven leadership experience with moderate to large scope of responsibility.
• Experience with technology risk management, third-party risk, information security, internal controls, operational risk, governance, and regulatory environments in financial services.
