Med Tech (Limited Lay Administration of Medication)

Location: 21111 Arrington Dr, Selbyville, Delaware, USA; onsite

What you will do

• Administer or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication according to resident care plans and physician orders.
• Maintain accurate medication records and related medical documentation under the delegation and supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Provide resident care and complete delegated care tasks to meet individual needs.
• Protect residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity while delivering services.
• Complete required medication training and participate in scheduled in-service training.
• Follow federal, state, local, and community regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Active CNA and/or HHA certification required.
• Successful completion of the Board of Nursing's LLAM core curriculum and applicable program-specific modules required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• At least six months of experience working with seniors in assisted living, home health, hospital, or long-term care.
• Ability to work weekends and complete required annual and company medication training.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds while using proper body mechanics.
