What you will do

• Support the Expanded Learning Manager, Coordinator, and Site Lead in organizing and implementing program activities.
• Plan and lead enrichment, physical education, academic support, structured play, and age-appropriate activities for groups of up to 20 kindergarten students.
• Develop activities that foster student engagement, creativity, social development, positive behavior, and foundational skills.
• Coordinate enrichment clubs, field trips, nutrition access, and other student programming.
• Record daily attendance, supervise students, and ensure their safety throughout the program.
• Prepare and clean up classrooms and materials while following health and wellness protocols.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working in an expanded learning environment.
• Strong oral and written communication, leadership, collaboration, and activity-planning skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Reliable transportation and a valid California driver’s license.
• Successful completion of a background check, including fingerprinting, after an official offer.

Nice to have

• Fluent Spanish communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
