Manager, Software Engineering (Java)

What you will do

• Lead a medium-sized engineering team and manage performance, development plans, budgets, and operational results.
• Hire and support development engineers, product definition analysts, and quality engineers.
• Define and communicate the technical and functional team roadmap in alignment with department and company objectives.
• Manage production support investigations and resolve customer inquiries and operational issues.
• Collaborate with software development, architecture, solutions, and QA teams to deliver testable, stable, scalable, and high-performing systems.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams and working with complex technical and operational challenges.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and servant-leadership skills.
• Technical knowledge of Java, C++, Angular, TypeScript, SQL, and Oracle.
• Experience with JBoss, Spring, Maven, Apache ActiveMQ, Camel, Kafka, Git, Bitbucket, and modern development tools.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Microsoft Azure, SAFe, CI/CD, DevOps, FinOps, and automated testing.
