Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid schedule with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday and remote work Monday and Friday

What you will do

• Research, design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack software solutions.
• Build customer-facing experiences that support analytics, monitoring, configuration, and customer outcomes.
• Lead multi-contributor technical projects and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Drive quality through unit tests, quality gates, and test planning.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of critical production issues.
• Evaluate AI-assisted engineering tools and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Full-stack development experience focused on scalable and secure applications.
• Backend experience with PHP 8+, Laravel, API development, and unit testing.
• Frontend experience with Vue.js 3+ and responsive UI development.
• Experience with MySQL or MariaDB, Git, Docker, Apache, and Linux; familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, MongoDB, TypeScript, Zend, or Laminas.
• Experience with GitHub Actions.
