Manager, Global Product Support (IBD) (Semiconductor)

Location: US - California - San Jose, supporting operations in Plainview, New York; travel may be required domestically and internationally for up to 30–50% of the time.

Salary: $144,080–$192,107 annually, plus bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Lead and supervise the Technical Product Support engineers supporting the IBD300 product line.
• Work with customers to integrate hirify.global hardware and software into manufacturing processes and support IBD300 applications.
• Resolve complex field issues involving electrical and electronic systems, software, hardware, installations, facilities, and process applications.
• Coordinate Field Service, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Customer Operations, and Technical Sales teams.
• Support major hardware and software upgrades and customer rollouts.
• Establish service metrics, analyze results, and implement continuous improvements to customer support quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and at least 8 years of experience in technical support or engineering.
• Demonstrated experience managing, supervising, or leading technical teams.
• Experience with vacuum tools and semiconductor equipment, including ultra-high-vacuum chambers, transfer modules, wafer handling, and automation.
• Knowledge of equipment and process control, Windows-based applications, PLCs, software debugging, and log analysis.
• Experience supporting complex electromechanical manufacturing equipment and analyzing large volumes of technical data.
• Effective communication in English across cultural and language boundaries.

• Master’s or PhD in a technical discipline.
