Director, Business Operations Support – Data Center IFM

Location: Austin, Texas, USA; ability to travel 25% required.

Salary: $161,500–$190,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support the data center platform strategy, annual planning, roadmap, operating objectives, and maturity milestones.
• Develop operating models, governance routines, account support structures, reporting standards, and escalation pathways.
• Track strategic programs, workstreams, risks, dependencies, deadlines, and measurable business outcomes across matrixed teams.
• Support compliance, audit readiness, contractual discipline, operational controls, and risk management.
• Provide strategic content for pursuits, client presentations, diligence, executive discussions, and commercial enablement.
• Develop executive narratives, board-quality materials, leadership briefings, and communications that support organizational alignment and change.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in strategy, business operations, enterprise PMO, platform management, management consulting, or complex operational leadership.
• Experience building or transforming operating models in complex, matrixed, multi-account, multi-client, or rapidly scaling environments.
• Strong capabilities in strategic planning, portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, performance management, governance design, and executive decision support.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including the ability to connect operating decisions with growth, profitability, investment, risk, and client value.
• Working knowledge of asset management, maintenance strategy, CMMS platforms, safety, quality, compliance, ISO frameworks, and operational risk.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant leadership experience required; advanced degree preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, integrated facilities management, engineering operations, or another highly regulated operational environment.
• Credibility with technical leaders without requiring deep technical engineering expertise.
