Associate Software Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: San Diego, California, United States. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Salary: $89,000–$133,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support scalable, reliable, secure, and easy-to-use applications.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from coding and testing through production support.
• Work with experienced engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver healthcare technology solutions.
• Use modern development practices, cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 1 year of software development experience.
• Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design patterns, and basic system architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
