Salary: $77,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Implement, configure, and maintain cybersecurity technologies across network, endpoint, infrastructure, cloud, and hardware environments.
• Deploy and operate firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, antivirus, vulnerability scanners, and related security controls.
• Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities while supporting incident response, cyber resiliency, threat hunting, and security investigations.
• Translate technical and security requirements into secure, deployable configurations and evaluate dependencies, feasibility, risks, and constraints.
• Monitor security technologies, troubleshoot configuration issues, and recommend tuning, enhancements, and new use cases.
• Create technical documentation, configuration standards, implementation guides, and best-practice materials while collaborating with cybersecurity, architecture, infrastructure, operations, and cloud teams.

Requirements

• Foundational experience implementing, configuring, or supporting cybersecurity technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles across networks, servers, endpoints, cloud environments, infrastructure, and hardware devices.
• Experience with EDR, MDR, SIEM, SOAR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, antivirus, or vulnerability management tools.
• Understanding of incident response, vulnerability management, threat hunting, attack techniques, security investigations, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and support the implementation and maintenance of security controls.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security, cyber resiliency, incident management, Zero Trust, network and edge security, IoT security, or AI-related security technologies.
• Experience with security monitoring, threat detection, advanced analytics, or UEBA platforms.
• Experience in security engineering, security operations, managed security services, regulated environments, or enterprise technology environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, ECTHP, ECMAP, or similar credentials.
