Principal Cyber Engineer

Location: Onsite at a customer site in Sterling, Virginia, United States. This position is not relocation eligible.

Salary: $99,000–$206,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop high-impact native applications for mobile devices.
• Integrate reverse-engineering results into development products.
• Expand mobile platform expertise to meet development objectives and customer requirements.
• Develop cyber tools with C/C++ on Unix/Linux platforms.
• Analyze mobile and ARM-based systems using static decompilers and disassemblers.
• Work onsite with end users and collaborate with a multidisciplinary cyber engineering team.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• At least five years of cyber tool development experience with C/C++ on Unix/Linux using Make or CMake.
• Experience developing for Android or another mobile platform.
• Familiarity with static decompilers such as Hex-Rays and disassemblers such as Ghidra.
• Experience working with large open-source projects such as AOSP.
• A degree in a technical discipline is required.

Nice to have

• Team or task leadership experience.
• Knowledge of CNE techniques and methodologies on Android and Linux.
• Experience with ARM64/ARM32 architectures, ARM binary reverse engineering, or proof-of-concept exploit development.
• Experience with AI agent task delegation and output evaluation.
• Familiarity with Git and Atlassian products such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, and JIRA.
