Strategic Planning Director (Battery Materials)

Base pay: $193,000–$244,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and modernize the end-to-end Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) framework.
• Coordinate long-term scenario planning, short-term production execution, inventory strategy, and financial integration.
• Drive adoption of advanced planning technologies, automation tools, custom software, and enterprise systems.
• Develop real-time scheduling, inventory visibility, and ERP reporting capabilities.
• Build value-chain optimization models covering raw materials, process constraints, and multi-location factory synergies.
• Build, mentor, and lead a strategic planning team while partnering with Strategy, Product, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, supply chain, or industrial operations leadership.
• Experience in complex manufacturing or hardware environments such as batteries, chemicals, semiconductors, or automotive.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing advanced planning technologies, custom software, and enterprise systems.
• Expertise in value-chain optimization modeling, inventory theory, and real-time scheduling architectures.
• Executive presence with experience building high-performing teams, driving cross-functional consensus, and influencing executive leadership.
