Respiratory Care Practitioner I, Full-Time, Nights ($20,000 Sign-On Bonus)

Location: 251 E. Huron, Chicago, Illinois, United States; on-site night shift

Salary: USD 38.50–53.90 per hour. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available subject to eligibility.

What you will do

• Provide respiratory care to acutely ill adult patients across medical-surgical, emergency, and critical care units.
• Administer ordered respiratory therapies and modalities, assess patient responses, and adjust treatment frequency when appropriate.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory disease management and available support resources.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.
• Apply respiratory care policies, current research, and best practices; precept students and promote teamwork.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Active or pending Illinois Respiratory Care License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work full-time night shifts on site in Chicago.
