Senior Clinical Quality and Safety Specialist (RN)

Location: Remote, USA. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future employer visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $85,000–$105,000 USD annually, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Investigate clinically related patient complaints, gather context, and coordinate resolution with radiology, patient experience, and provider teams.
• Educate patients about their medical history, scan results, and the scope of whole-body MRI.
• Manage incident reporting, prepare event summaries, and lead or participate in root cause analyses.
• Translate incident findings into actionable safety interventions and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Design, implement, and evaluate quality improvement projects while monitoring safety and quality trends.
• Maintain quality records and prepare monthly reports for leadership on trends, loop closure, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Current, valid multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• At least 5 years of experience in an active clinical setting.
• At least 2 years of dedicated experience in clinical quality, patient safety, or risk management.
• Knowledge of proactive care culture, systemic risk management, human factors, and healthcare safety.
• Strong analytical, communication, patient education, and remote collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with video conferencing, Slack, Google Workspace, and email.

Nice to have

• Experience in MRI services, radiology, or oncology.
• Experience navigating ambiguity, scaling processes, and designing systems in a fast-growing health-tech environment.
