Critical Care - IST (AHN Travel Team) (Critical Care Nursing)

Location: Work at home in Pennsylvania with rotation to AHN hospitals in the Pittsburgh metro area and Northwestern Pennsylvania; rotating shifts with 24/7 coverage.

Salary: $65 per hour premium rate

What you will do

• Provide nursing care across critical care, telemetry/med-surg, and emergency medicine clinical teams.
• Assess patients and families, develop and implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and document changes in condition.
• Assign and delegate tasks to RNs, LPNs, and support staff based on patient needs and staff competency.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care, patient safety, quality, evidence-based practice, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Mentor peers, share clinical knowledge, provide feedback, and support professional development.
• Accept assignments outside the primary unit and work rotating shifts to maintain continuous coverage.

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania RN license or current multistate license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
• Three years of critical care or ICU experience
• One year of travel nursing experience
• Experience in a Level I trauma hospital
• ACLS, NIH, CCRN, and American Heart Association CPR credentials
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 background clearances
