Manufacturing Scheduler/Planner (Biopharma)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve finite production schedules for daily, weekly, and longer-term manufacturing operations.
• Own the near-term manufacturing schedule and integrate process requirements, equipment availability, facilities, staffing, materials, maintenance, Quality, and QC dependencies.
• Facilitate weekly scheduling meetings and coordinate schedule changes with Manufacturing, MS&T, Supply Chain, Quality, QC, Facilities, Maintenance, and other support functions.
• Identify conflicts and constraints, assess their impact, and develop mitigation and recovery scenarios for downtime, material delays, deviations, maintenance, and staffing disruptions.
• Support material work orders, production capacity assessments, scenario modeling, and identification of emerging bottlenecks.
• Maintain scheduling assumptions and communicate manufacturing scheduling KPIs and trends.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required; a bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, operations management, life sciences, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, supply chain, operations, or a related field is preferred.
• Direct experience supporting biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations is strongly preferred.
• Experience developing or managing resource-constrained production schedules is preferred.
• Experience supporting multi-product manufacturing environments is preferred.
