Class A Hazmat CDL Truck Driver (Hazmat)

Location: SPP-124 Powell Place, Nashville, Tennessee 37204; local deliveries only with drivers home every night

Salary: $30 per hour, plus benefits and up to $3,500 in annual bonuses

What you will do

• Make safe, accurate, and on-time local deliveries using effective routes.
• Load and unload vehicles, secure products, and separate hazardous materials appropriately.
• Collect payments and complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and presentable while building product knowledge.

Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license with HAZMAT endorsement required.
• At least 21 years old.
• Motor Vehicle Record and Pre-Employment Screening Program results with no more than two combined violations or at-fault accidents in the past three years.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication, and ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Pre-employment drug testing and background verification are required; the position is safety-sensitive.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PCs and material handling equipment.
• Moffett, Skelly, or air brake experience.
