Automation Operator

Location: Solon, Ohio, United States; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Set up and operate progressive die presses, automated machinery, saws, assembly tables, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Operate equipment that bends, forms, stretches, and straightens plates, extrusions, structural shapes, and other materials.
• Assist with die, forming block, stroke, and feed adjustments for automatic and multi-slide equipment.
• Read blueprints, drawings, route sheets, schedules, and written or verbal work instructions.
• Inspect materials and work in process using micrometers, calipers, scales, tape measures, calculators, and fixed gauges.
• Move materials with pallet jacks, lift trucks, or cranes when qualified; report equipment faults and maintain safe, orderly work areas.

Requirements

• Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience following work instructions or reading blueprints.
• Experience using hand and power tools; light industrial facility experience is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Lift truck operator experience is recommended.
