Sr. IT Manager - Transformation & Resiliency (Aerospace)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; office or hybrid environment required

Estimated starting salary: $165,010.21–$226,889.04 per year, plus performance-based annual incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead modernization of enterprise operational platforms through automation, DevOps enablement, AIOps, SRE, and resiliency engineering.
• Build predictive incident detection, intelligent event correlation, automated remediation, and fault-tolerant operational capabilities.
• Establish Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, configuration automation, and reusable operational patterns.
• Own operations architecture across infrastructure and application tiers, including metrics, logging, tracing, monitoring, and SLOs.
• Develop governance frameworks, automated controls, auditable workflows, and codified resiliency standards.
• Lead and mentor engineers, SREs, architects, and technical leaders while coordinating with platform, product, and cybersecurity organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 16 years of related experience in place of the degree.
• 12+ years of IT experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading large-scale IT infrastructure and software development projects and teams.
• Expertise in enterprise datacenter management, cloud services, Azure, AWS, hybrid cloud, hypervisors, PaaS, and IaaS.
• Experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps or GitHub, scripting with Bash, PowerShell, Python, AWS CLI, or Azure CLI, ITIL, and SDLC standards.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• ITIL Master, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer, or similar certification.
• Experience in the aerospace and defense industry and managing teams of six or more individual contributors.
• Experience with cloud strategy, IT continuity planning, project delivery, and infrastructure configuration optimization.
