VP, Infrastructure Engineering Manager (AWS)

Location: Hybrid role based in Fort Mill/Charlotte, United States

Base salary: $128,750–$214,549 per year

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Define and execute infrastructure strategy focused on scalability, resilience, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive adoption of cloud technologies, automation, monitoring, and operational improvements.
• Manage infrastructure standards, policies, budgets, vendors, and technology procurement.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support business applications.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and implementation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive infrastructure engineering experience, including at least 5 years in leadership or management.
• 5+ years designing, implementing, and managing complex enterprise-scale infrastructure environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive AWS and hybrid cloud experience, with strong knowledge of networking, storage, databases, and data management.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python, or PowerShell for infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
• Financial services industry experience.
• Master’s degree.
