Sr Analyst, Payroll

Location: Aibonito, Puerto Rico; onsite role supporting multiple Puerto Rico manufacturing sites.

What you will do

• Maintain Workday and Kronos payroll and timekeeping systems, including employee data, schedules, timecards, corrections, and exceptions.
• Process weekly payroll closing, payroll transmissions, overtime, salary adjustments, paid time off, absences, and other compensation changes.
• Prepare and analyze payroll, absenteeism, overtime, labor projection, and management reports.
• Support month-end close through payroll journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, deduction audits, and invoice processing.
• Analyze the financial impact of compensation, benefits, incentives, restructuring, and workforce programs while monitoring HR and administrative budgets.
• Partner with HR, Finance, managers, employees, Operations, and plant leadership to resolve payroll issues and support HR, EHS, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Payroll, Accounting, or a related function.
• Experience with Workday, Kronos, or similar payroll and timekeeping platforms.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations, accounting principles, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
