Senior Software Engineer II (AI Enablement)

hirify.global develops healthcare technology and operates an AI Enablement platform supporting AI adoption across the organization.

What you will do

• Own and extend the MCP Gateway and connector platform, including integrations with enterprise tools such as Slack, Jira, Snowflake, Salesforce, Tableau, and Databricks.
• Implement authentication, authorization, token scoping, tenancy, rate limiting, and read/write policy enforcement for tool integrations.
• Run the plugin marketplace publishing pipeline, including versioning, CI/CD, plugin reviews, release hygiene, and developer tooling synchronization.
• Build observability, telemetry, usage attribution, model routing, and evaluation harnesses for inference quality, adoption, and cost optimization.
• Develop browsable, searchable, commentable surfaces for agent outputs, including discovery, tagging, engagement instrumentation, expiry, and notifications.
• Provide platform stewardship through office hours, mentoring, feature-request triage, documentation, and on-call support for marketplace artifacts and gateway availability.

Requirements

• BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Production ownership of a backend service or developer platform, including its authentication model, release process, and operational health.
• Strong production experience with Python, TypeScript/Node, Go, or a similar modern application stack, plus modern CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with machine-to-machine authentication and authorization, including OAuth2, OIDC, credentials, token scoping, and secret management.
• Experience with system instrumentation, structured logging, tracing, usage analytics, agentic coding tools, and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP servers, Claude Code plugins, skills, hooks, or comparable LLM-tooling integrations.
• Experience operating LLM gateways or inference proxies, including routing, fallback, caching, quotas, and cost attribution.
• Experience building LLM evaluation harnesses, benchmarks, and A/B comparisons.
• Experience with package registries, plugin ecosystems, or extension marketplaces.
• Healthcare technology, HIPAA-regulated environments, PHI-handling systems, BAA, or data-residency experience.
