Manager, Global HR Compliance and Operations

Location: Schiller Park, Illinois, United States; primarily office-based

Salary: $122,846–$159,700 per year

What you will do

• Own and oversee the global HR compliance framework across applicable jurisdictions.
• Monitor employment-law and regulatory developments and translate them into practical HR policies, programs, and processes.
• Lead HR compliance audits and coordinate responses to internal and external auditors.
• Design, document, test, and remediate HR SOX controls, including controls related to compensation and equity.
• Develop and deliver compliance training for HR partners, managers, and employees.
• Partner with Legal, Internal Audit, Compliance, Payroll, Data Privacy, Finance, and regional HR teams on risk management, M&A, reorganizations, and global expansion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in HR compliance, employee relations, HR operations, or employment law.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and exposure to international labor regulations, including GDPR and global data privacy requirements.
• Experience with formal governance, audit, control, SOX, and enterprise risk management environments.
• Experience supporting HR compliance in a global, publicly traded, pre-IPO, or IPO-readiness environment.
• Strong judgment, confidentiality, project management, organizational, and cross-cultural communication skills.

Nice to have

• JD, MBA, or master’s degree in HR or compliance.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CCP, or equivalent certification.
