TL;DR
Cloud Security Engineer (Cloud Security/DevOps): Defining and implementing infrastructure and application security standards across public cloud environments with an accent on secure provisioning, CI/CD automation, vulnerability management, and cloud architecture. Focus on analyzing cloud vulnerabilities, performing penetration tests and risk assessments, and building secure configuration and deployment solutions.
Location: Hybrid schedule with 4 days in office in Wyoming, Michigan, or Atlanta, Georgia, and 1 day remote. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

What you will do
- Define, document, and implement infrastructure and application security standards for cloud environments.
- Integrate information security processes covering risk, vulnerabilities, secure development, environment configuration, and identity management.
- Provide expertise in cloud configuration, deployment, architecture, provisioning, and operational security.
- Develop and maintain security-focused configuration and deployment automation for CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze cloud vulnerabilities, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate internal and external penetration testing.
- Advise software engineering and cross-functional teams on secure coding, configuration standards, and emerging cloud threats.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Five or more years of information technology experience, including software engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Knowledge of SAST, DAST, RBAC, least privilege, secrets management, scanning tools, network security, and the CIA triad.
- Experience with public cloud providers including Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure.
- Experience with containerization, container orchestration, cloud networking, software-defined networking, routing, bridging, VLANs, switches, and build or provisioning tools.
- Experience with cloud development and configuration languages, automated build and release processes, and Unix/Linux.
