Senior Security Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Operate and evolve Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure powering managed authorization services.
• Strengthen security across cloud infrastructure, networking, IAM, workload identity, secrets, encryption, and service-to-service communication.
• Secure the software supply chain across CI/CD, dependencies, container images, build artifacts, vulnerability scanning, and deployment controls.
• Build automated security guardrails, policies, and secure platform defaults.
• Improve vulnerability management, security telemetry, detection, alerting, and incident-response playbooks.
• Participate in the SRE on-call rotation, production incident response, threat modeling, architecture decisions, and security strategy.

Requirements

• Significant experience operating production systems as a Site Reliability, Platform, Infrastructure, or Security Engineer.
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized production environments.
• Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and its security model.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, networking, TLS/PKI, encryption, secrets management, Linux, containers, and cloud-native security.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and software delivery pipelines, observability, monitoring, logging, and production incident response.
• Ability to work independently, lead cross-engineering initiatives, and provide technical leadership in a small technical organization.

Nice to have

• Experience operating distributed databases or other stateful distributed systems.
• Experience securing multi-tenant SaaS or cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with security architecture, threat modeling, penetration testing, or security assessments.
• CKA, CKS, AWS Certified Security, CISSP, or CCSP certification.
