Engineer – Cloud Cyber Security (GCP/Azure)

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and integrate secure Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure environments with the existing infrastructure backbone.
• Build and deploy security configurations and cloud-native security controls across GCP and Azure.
• Partner with IT, Enterprise Architecture, and application teams to maintain cloud security and compliance standards.
• Monitor and optimize cloud environments, evaluate security tools, and enforce regulatory controls.
• Investigate, respond to, and remediate large-scale and complex cloud security incidents.
• Automate security controls and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines while documenting best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information sciences, or a related field, or four years of relevant work experience.
• At least three years of experience in information security engineering or architecture and cloud engineering.
• Required certification in one or more of CISSP, CEH, CCNP, GSEC, GCIH, GPEN, GCIA, or OSCP.
• Expertise with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to work on site in Deer Valley, Phoenix, Arizona, Monday through Friday during the day shift.

Nice to have

• Seven years of experience in information security engineering or architecture and cloud engineering.
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Azure Solutions Architect certification.
