Production First Line Supervisor (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: US - WV - Parkersburg; Washington, WV site

Salary: $85,801.00 - $134,064.00 annually, plus a 6% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Manage Power & Services operations shift teams responsible for the safe, reliable supply of site utilities and services.
• Lead 18–25 Chemical Operators and oversee people, equipment, processes, and operational performance.
• Maintain compliance with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including reporting and work permits.
• Coordinate training, coaching, performance reviews, recognition, and corrective discipline with Operations and HR.
• Respond to personnel, operational, safety, and environmental incidents; facilitate troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and investigations.
• Drive organizational health and continuous improvement through the hirify.global Business System.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• More than 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage a large operations workforce in a high-hazard environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work on site in Parkersburg/Washington, West Virginia.

Nice to have

• High-hazard or chemical industry experience.
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Engineering degree.
• Strong written, oral, presentation, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
