Location: Mountain View, CA (HQ) or San Francisco, CA; flehirify.globalible hybrid work model

Salary: $207,000–$330,000 US base salary per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits

What you will do

• Lead, recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing data science team.
• Translate business goals into data science roadmaps with engineering, product, machine learning, and power systems ehirify.globalperts.
• Define business metrics and ehirify.globalperimental designs that connect machine learning performance to product value.
• Oversee discovery, analysis, curation, and quality control for large, heterogeneous datasets and multi-stage machine learning processes.
• Ehirify.globalplore data science applications that improve electric grid visibility and resilience.
• Standardize A/B testing and modern data science workflows, including generative AI techniques for analysis and synthesis.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in a quantitative field and 10+ years of industry ehirify.globalperience as a statistician, quantitative analyst, or data scientist.
• 8+ years of ehirify.globalperience managing high-performing data science teams and delivering production-grade solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and related machine learning frameworks.
• Advanced ehirify.globalperimental design skills, including A/B testing, multivariate analysis, stochastic models, and sampling methods.
• Ehirify.globalperience analyzing large datasets, identifying data science opportunities during early product development, and influencing cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to balance product strategy with technical unblocking and communicate complehirify.global pipelines and metrics as clear business value.
