Automotive Technician Helper & DVI Specialist (Automotive)

Location: Onsite in Cordova, Tennessee, United States, at the Lakeland shop. Monday through Friday; weekends off.

What you will do

• Safely drive, rack, and lift customer vehicles on shop lifts.
• Perform digital vehicle inspections using a shop tablet.
• Take clear photos, assess tire wear and fluid levels, and document vehicle condition.
• Assist senior technicians with setups, tool management, and heavy lifting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Develop hands-on knowledge of diagnostics, electrical systems, and advanced mechanical repair under mentorship.

Requirements

• Basic automotive knowledge, including engine-bay familiarity, fluid locations, and safe wrench use.
• Comfort using an iPad or tablet and inspection software.
• Strong commitment to safety when driving and lifting customer vehicles.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to learn.
• Experience at a quick-lube chain or tire center, or enrollment in a local trade program, is highly preferred.
