Intel Foundry Advanced Device Development Engineering Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Hybrid work at an assigned hirify.global site in Hillsboro, Oregon, or other listed US locations including Phoenix, Folsom, San Diego, Santa Clara, and New York

Annual salary: $224,970–$317,600 USD

What you will do

• Lead a device engineering team developing high-volume-capable process technologies that meet performance, yield, and reliability requirements.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments for advanced semiconductor devices and process development.
• Coordinate with integration, module, design, modeling, reliability, and foundry technology teams.
• Support delivery of high-quality Process-Design Kits through silicon-to-simulation correlation, layout-effect validation, and electrical monitor analysis.
• Define test structures and test programs for advanced design rules and device-parameter extraction.
• Use statistics, data mining, machine learning, and fab data analysis to guide future technology development.

Requirements

• Advanced-node semiconductor industry experience in semiconductor materials, fabrication, device physics, or electrical characterization of semiconductor devices.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or a related scientific field.
• Ph.D. with 10+ years of advanced-node semiconductor experience, or a master's degree with 15+ years of experience.
• Experience leading teams, setting priorities, developing employees, and managing performance.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model at an assigned hirify.global site in the United States.
• Successful completion of an extended background investigation is required for this Position of Trust.

Nice to have

• Advanced transistor device structures and device physics expertise.
• Process-monitoring test-structure design and layout experience.
• Device and circuit simulation, SPC, DOE, and engineering analysis experience.
• Database, analytics, scripting, or programming expertise, including JMP, MATLAB, Octave, JSL, Perl, TCL, Python, SQL, or C/C++.
• Experience with agentic AI, orchestrated LLM workflows, machine learning, deep learning, RAG, knowledge engineering, and dataflow pipeline architectures.
