Location: On-site in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States
Annual salary: $115,110–$219,550 USD

What you will do
- Develop and integrate silicon photonics fabrication processes and products.
- Define process flows, procedures, equipment requirements, and development experiments.
- Drive yield optimization, new product introduction roadmaps, and product qualification milestones.
- Manage test, SORT, burn-in capacity, and capability across the product life cycle.
- Collaborate with yield, device, defect, process, design, quality, reliability, planning, finance, wafer-level test, and OSAT teams.
- Train production and receiving engineers for transfer to high-volume manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, such as chemical, electrical, or materials engineering, materials science, physics, or optics/photonics.
- At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor or silicon photonics process technology.
- At least 2 years of experience with advanced data analysis, including JMP, GAJT, or SQL.
- Experience with statistical process control and design of experiments principles.
- Strong problem-solving, time-management, self-motivation, and learning skills.
Nice to have
- Master’s or Ph.D. in engineering or a related science discipline.
- Experience with optics, photonics, silicon photonics, lasers, or III/V compounds.
- Experience in process integration for silicon photonics or other semiconductor technologies.
