Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite role

Salary: $183,200–$251,900 base annual salary

What you will do

• Take technical ownership of software modules and subsystems across architecture, implementation, integration, deployment, maintenance, and technical roadmaps.
• Design, develop, test, and integrate software for hirify.global machines and applications using C# and .NET.
• Define subsystem decomposition, interfaces, technology selections, architectural direction, and detailed technical specifications.
• Lead integration, dependency management, build, deployment, installation, upgrade, debugging, and root-cause analysis activities.
• Drive software quality, automated testing, performance optimization, code reviews, design reviews, and architectural governance.
• Provide technical direction and coach a group of 6–10 software engineers while coordinating dependencies across teams and disciplines.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with substantial general work experience or an equivalent level of expertise.
• Comprehensive experience in the relevant software engineering discipline and experience completing at least one Product Development Cycle.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET Framework/.NET development.
• Experience with WPF, XAML, MVVM, object-oriented design, software architecture, frameworks, and design patterns.
• Experience with build systems, automated builds, deployment pipelines, source control, NuGet, unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.
• Ability to work onsite in San Jose, California, United States.
