Senior Software Engineer (AI/ML)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; onsite at the Bellevue Skyline Office

Salary: $108,000–$216,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Own the delivery of scoped software features and models through implementation, iteration, testing, and operational support.
• Design, develop, test, document, and maintain reliable software using modern programming languages and development practices.
• Integrate AI and ML components through internal and external APIs, including generative AI tools.
• Translate high-level designs and business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, defect management, monitoring, and proactive performance improvement.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to define requirements and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• Object-oriented programming expertise and experience with documentation-based coding practices.
• Strong experience with code review, debugging, and continuous software development.
• Experience delivering scoped features or models through collaborative engineering teams.
• Experience integrating AI/ML components and using generative AI tools in development.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 3 years of software engineering experience, or 5 years of software engineering experience.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related area.
• Experience creating inclusive digital experiences using WCAG 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies.
