Manufacturing Equipment Technician (MTE) - Front End Nights Shift - Shift 4 (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; regular onsite presence required. Shift 4 runs Sunday–Tuesday and alternating Saturday nights, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Salary: $70,670–$99,770 annual salary range for the US; hourly role.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Set up, calibrate, and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on wet chemistry, plating, and dry high-vacuum toolsets.
• Monitor equipment performance and analyze data to identify reliability issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Document maintenance activities, repair findings, and parts usage.
• Support cleanroom operations and continuous improvement projects focused on equipment optimization and yield enhancement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 2+ years of experience; or an associate degree in a technical field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, 4+ years of semiconductor maintenance experience as a Field Service Engineer or 6+ years of related hands-on or military technical experience with a non-semiconductor degree.
• Ability to lift 25-pound parts, climb ladders, and stand or walk for up to 80% of the workday.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective collaboration with engineering teams and peers.

Nice to have

• Experience troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and operating electromechanical semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with wet chemistry, plating, or dry high-vacuum equipment.
• Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, and standard hand tools.
• Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
