Sr Security Lead - DC

Location: R2 Perishable DC, Elkton, Maryland, United States. On-site distribution center work with flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and early or late shifts.

Salary: $25.75–$30.90 per hour

What you will do

• Plan, implement, and support security programs, safety initiatives, and the site Security Action Plan.
• Coach team members on security protocols and safe work practices, and conduct security new-hire orientations with Human Resources and Operations.
• Conduct facility and department audits to verify compliance with security programs, policies, and regulations.
• Support Safety Committee meetings, daily operations meetings, and post-incident reviews.
• Develop security staffing schedules and adjust coverage to meet operational needs.
• Communicate with operations, leadership, visitors, vendors, and peers while promoting facility security and accountability.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently, remain detail-oriented, and adapt to different distribution center areas and schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and perform standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and lifting for up to 8–10 hours daily.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to changing temperatures, noise, dust, and cold environments as low as -20°F.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including steel-toed footwear, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and insulated clothing.
