Clinical Translators & Reviewers (Freelance) – Latvian (Latvia) to English

What you will do

• Translate and revise clinical trial documentation, regulatory content, and medical materials from Latvian into English.
• Review translations for accuracy, consistency, cultural appropriateness, and compliance with ISO-certified quality standards.
• Handle patient-facing materials and regulatory submissions involving complex medical terminology.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality work within expected timelines.

Requirements

• Native or bilingual English proficiency is required.
• Advanced Latvian proficiency is required.
• 5+ years of professional translation and/or revision experience.
• Strong expertise in clinical trials and regulatory documentation.
• Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency with CAT tools, including SDL Trados and MemoQ, and MS Office with tracked changes.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ICH-GCP, HIPAA, and EU Clinical Trial Regulation requirements.
• Experience with linguistic validation and COA/eCOA translations.
• Familiarity with machine translation post-editing and ISO 18587.
